A man called John said that Jesus is the 'Word of God' and Jesus himself said he was 'bread come down from heaven'. In the Quran Jesus(Isa) is given the unique name 'kalimatullah' or the word and 'ruhullah' or breath of God. Here I hope that you will find some bread-crumbs to nibble on from 'the word' to breathe some life into you.

To experience these events you would fall face down on the ground, you would be truly overwhelmed! These 3 men get a special revelation and they can't share it with anyone just yet. Jesus must've really trusted them. John the baptist suffered for telling people about Jesus and Jesus indicates he is going to go through something similar. Why? Because they did not recognize him. Do you recognize Jesus?steven-shh-side-29-10-2008-9-26-9

Matthew 17

:8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus. 9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, "Don't tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead." 10 The disciples asked him, "Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?" 11 Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. 12 But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands." 13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.

What makes God happy?

Matthew 17:1 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. 4 Peter said to Jesus, "LORD, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters--one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah." 5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!" 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid."

rowducksThe full revelation of Jesus - 'the Son of God' - what an image! Imagine standing there. What did they see? Moses, Elijah, Jesus - and they heard a voice! The Son of God - fulfilling all the law and the prophets. Important - the Son of God does not indicate a manner of birth, but rather a relationship - Jesus relates to, obeys, trusts, loves God as a son. This is not trying to tell us that God had a wife - what blasphemy! So, is God pleased with YOU? If Jesus is speaking are YOU LISTENING TO HIM?

Get what you deserve

UntitledWhen you have written something on a piece of paper the only way that paper can become blemish free is if it is replaced with a new one. Turning over a new leaf leaves a book full with the old leaves that haven't gone away. How about a new book, or rather, how about a new life? If you could die and start again wouldn't it be wonderful. You can. Not re-incarnated, but re-born - through belief in Jesus. The 'old you' needs to get 'his/her' reward. Turn to Jesus for a new life with a good reward.

Matthew 16:27 "For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. 28 I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
